Market Variable Rate: Moves with the market and is based on the wholesale Bank Bill rates plus margins.
Carded Rates: A direct retail offering from a lender, typically what you get when you walk in of the street and into a branch.
Fixed Rates: A fixed interest rate on your facility over a specified term.
Collared Rates: Set a ceiling and a floor to your interest rate. Be assureed of your minimum and maximum repayment
Capped rates: Set a strike rate that triggers a maximum rate for your loan, it acts like an insurance policy against rising rates.
LVR: Loan to Value Ratio, is the exposure that the lender is willing to accept. A 75% LVR would mean that you will need a 25% deposit.
